First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. You can pick up as little as one shift per month, and enjoy daily and weekly pay options with easy mobile scheduling.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
