First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU RNs for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Shifts run 7a-7p or 7p-7a, offering flexible scheduling and the freedom to pick your own shifts.

Per diem earnings and a responsive local team support you as you build the schedule you want. Per diem RN opportunities include daily and weekly pay options, with hospital-based assignments and a locally owned staffing partner with 15+ years in the area.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• BLS and ACLS current per policy.
• QuantiFERON TB Gold test current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
