First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with the option of daily and weekly pay and flexible scheduling.

Enjoy competitive per diem pay, choosing your own schedule, and the ability to work as little as one shift per month while maintaining high-quality patient care in acute-care settings.

Competenze

• Virginia RN license with at least 2 years of recent PCU experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment.

Mansioni

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conoscenze

Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

BLS

ACLS

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption

EMR/EHR experience
