Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required
• 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
• Current state RN licensure
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, develop and modify a plan of care, implement treatment and evaluate outcomes
• Serve as point of contact for patients’ care coordination across hospital departments
• Act as patient safety advocate by participating in quality improvement in the department
• Administer medications safely following policy and state practice standards
• Other duties as assigned
