Job summary
Ashton North LLC seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, on-site night shifts in Great Falls, Montana. The RN will provide direct care to hemodynamically stable to unstable patients on a stepdown unit, with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and strong teamwork.
Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, Montana RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS certs (or within 6 months), and recent PCU/ICU experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; RN licensure required in Montana or compact/endorsement eligibility.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire). EPNC/TNCC preferred.
- Post-graduate clinical practice in Medical/Surgical with recent Critical Care or PCU/Stepdown experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or unstable patients on a stepdown unit.
- Manage diverse patient population including pre/post-PCI, pacemakers, revascularization, and complex surgical cases.
- Monitor and intervene to detect and stabilize deteriorating clinical conditions.
- Operate and manage advanced medical equipment (arterial lines, chest tubes, ventilatory support).
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
- Serve as a clinical floor leader, precepting staff and guiding LPNs/CNAs.
