Job summary

Ashton North LLC is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site position in Great Falls, Montana. You will provide specialized nursing care on a busy PCU/step-down unit with a focus on patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires MT RN licensure, ADN with BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. You will support patient care across pre/post-PCI events, complex surgical cases, and cardiology monitoring, while precepting

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active Montana RN license or eligibility for license endorsement.
• Core certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU/step-down patients.
• Manage pre/post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor and stabilize deteriorating conditions using telemetry and bedside assessments.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge; precept new staff.
