SteveRecruiter, LLC in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN for full-time, on-site night shifts. The role emphasizes strong nurse-to-patient ratios, administrative support, and a teamwork-focused culture in an inpatient setting.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN with BSN preferred, MT RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Prior PCU/ICU experience and pediatric exposure are valued. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN licensure or compact/endorsement eligibility.
• Core certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (TNCC/EPNC preferred).
• Post-graduate clinical practice in an advanced Medical/Surgical unit with ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized, direct nursing care to patients on PCU/stepdown.
• Manage diverse patient population including post-PCI care and complex surgical cases.
• Monitor for deterioration using skilled assessment and timely intervention.
• Operate arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, NG tubes, and short-term ventilatory support.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams from admission to discharge planning.
• Serve as floor clinical leader, precepting staff and guiding LPNs/CNAs.
