Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview seeks a Nurse Manager to coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia. You will develop individualized care plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality, safety, and efficient operations.

Lead daily schedules, oversee endoscopy staffing, educate patients and families, participate in quality improvement, and manage department resources. Requires strong supervision and nursing licensure.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current.
• Strong supervision experience required.
• Ability to assess patient care needs and revise plans.
• Must maintain knowledge of unit nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and other providers for coordinated care.
• Manage daily schedules and oversee daily endoscopy staffing.
• Prioritize patient needs based on acuity and urgency.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
