Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital seeks a Nurse Manager of PACU to lead patient care in the post-anesthesia setting and collaborate with anesthesia. The role emphasizes safe staffing, staff delegation, and interdepartmental coordination to optimize surgical recovery flow.

You will report to the Director of Perioperative Services and require a CA RN license, basic arrhythmia training, and BCLS/ACLS; CCRN/CPAN are preferred for advanced practice.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license required.
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia course required.
• BCLS and ACLS Certification, PALS required.
• CCRN or CPAN preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in PACU/Pre-Op Holding Area/Pre Admission Testing with safe staffing and delegated assignments.
• Interface daily with ancillary departments to identify and resolve patient issues.
• Be medically responsible to the Department of Anesthesia and report to the Director of Perioperative Services.
