Job summary

MainStreet Family Care seeks a Laboratory General Supervisor to lead high-complexity real-time PCR testing and related lab procedures at our Wake Forest, NC site. You will ensure accurate results, uphold quality standards, and support providers and lab techs to enable efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Medical laboratory certification, or a Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science compliant with CLIA.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience, including molecular or PCR-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA high-complexity, real-time PCR testing according to protocols and regulations.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens.
• Document laboratory results accurately in the EMR.
• Perform quality control and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards are met.
