Qualifications

• Minimum: CLIA-compliant lab certification or Bachelor's in lab science
• Two years in clinical lab with molecular or PCR testing
• Five years preferred in clinical lab, esp. high-volume/urgent care environments

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA high-complexity real-time PCR testing per protocols
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens
• Document results in EMR accurately
• Perform QC, calibration, and routine maintenance on equipment
• Ensure CLIA/OSHA/HIPAA and infection control compliance
• Manage specimens for internal/external testing as needed
• Monitor inventory and expiration dates
• Troubleshoot testing and equipment issues
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support operations
• Supervise day-to-day test performance

Education

Bachelor's degree or Medical laboratory certification (CLIA compliant)
