Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Sourcing Specialist for PCB/PCBA to own demand planning and strategic sourcing for Starshield hardware.

You will drive end-to-end supply chain execution, develop should-cost models, manage RFIs/RFPs, and push cost-saving programs while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

The role requires a technical procurement background in PCB/PCBA, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• PCB/PCBA technical procurement experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies.
• Aggregate demand for hardware to enable accurate signal and rate planning.
• Act as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
• Lead RFX process and evaluation; implement sourcing decisions.
• Drive cost reductions and supplier performance improvements.
• Present value propositions to SpaceX executives on cost issues.
• Maintain strong supplier partnerships and data management for performance.
• Support prototype builds through mass production ramp-up.
