Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist for PCB/PCBA to drive end‑to‑end procurement for satellite hardware. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and push cost reductions while balancing schedule and quality for high‑velocity production.

The role is onsite in Hawthorne, CA, with ITAR considerations and travel as needed. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, plus 2+ years in procurement or 5+ years in lieu of a degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant procurement experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with PCB/PCBA or electrical components is preferred.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing and cost management strategies for existing platforms and new products.
• Aggregate demand for hardware to enable accurate demand signals and rate.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and supplier evaluations.
• Drive cost reduction while meeting budgets and forecasts.
• Build should-cost models for competitive analysis.
• Ensure supplier readiness for prototype builds and mass production.
