Job summary

PeerStar LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through shared experience. You will support individuals in community settings, promoting self-determination and growth on their recovery journey.

Applicants must hold an active PCB CPS certification, be at least 18, and have reliable transportation. FT and PT options with benefits are available.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).

• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations

• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.

• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.

• Ability to use iPad for documentation.

• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
