Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on helping others overcome mental health obstacles through shared experience and peer support, fostering hope and lasting friendships.

Qualified candidates are CPS-certified, aged 18+, with verified recovery progress and the ability to document with an iPad. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. FT benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
