Job summary

Peerstar LLC is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through lived experience, helping peers overcome mental health obstacles and build meaningful friendships.

You will offer 1:1 peer support in community settings, drive empowerment and self-determination, and build trust by sharing your recovery journey while supporting others on their path.

Qualifications

• Active CPS certification through PCB is required.
• Able to attest to mental health diagnosis and recovery journey to support others.
• 18 years or older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work, or 12 months within last 3 years.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
