Job summary

PeerStar, Pennsylvania's leading peer support provider, seeks a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to offer hope, understanding, and empowerment through lived experience. You’ll support individuals facing mental health challenges with compassionate, goal-oriented, community-based 1:1 peer support.

Active CPS certification is required, along with the ability to attest to your recovery journey. Full-time and part-time roles are available across Pennsylvania, with flexible scheduling and opportunities

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the PCB.
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
