Job summary

PeerStar is seeking Certified Peer Specialists to provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through shared experience in Pennsylvania. You will support individuals with mental health recovery and help them build meaningful friendships. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available if your PCB certification is active.

Opportunities exist for full-time and part-time roles. Candidates must have an active CPS certification, be 18+, and able to attest to recovery.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
