Job summary

PeerStar is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) in Pennsylvania to provide hope and support through lived experience, helping peers overcome mental health challenges. The role emphasizes empowerment, peer-based motivation, and building trust using personal recovery experience.

Both full-time and part-time openings exist. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is available for active PCB certification. Benefits include 401k with match, PTO, insurance options, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CPS certification through the PCB.
• Must attest to a mental health diagnosis and recovery.
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive employment or 12 months in last 3 years of paid/volunteer work.
• Ability to use an iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
