Job summary

PeerStar is Pennsylvania's largest peer support provider, seeking a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to help others overcome mental health obstacles using lived experience. We offer both full-time and part-time roles, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for active PCB certification.

In this role you will provide hope, empowerment, and everyday support in the community. Requirements include an active PCB CPS certification, 18+ years, ability to document on an iPad, and a valid driver's license with

Qualifications

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
