Job summary

Peerstar LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a PCB Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) to help others overcome mental health obstacles using lived experience. The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus if your PCB certification is active.

As a CPS you will provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through shared experience, documenting care on an iPad, and supporting recovery in community settings.

Qualifications

• Must have an active CPS certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must attest to having a mental health diagnosis and be in a recovery stage where you can support others.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must have 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work; OR within the last 3 years, at least 12 months of paid/volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hope and empowerment through 1:1 peer support.
• Build trust using your lived experience and offer tools for growth.
• Support peers in their recovery journey and connect them to resources.

Qualifications:

• Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB).
• Must be able to attest to having a mental health diagnosis and have reached a point in their recovery pathway where they can positively support others in similar situations
• Eighteen (18) years of age and older.
• Must have maintained 6 months of consecutive employment or volunteer work experience; OR within the last three (3) years, have maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or volunteer work experience.
• Ability to use iPad for documentation.
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
