Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Rye is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join their team! This part-time position requires working weekends, with competitive pay rates of $20-21.25 per hour, and additional differentials for night and weekend shifts.

Employees will assist residents with daily living activities, document care provided, and engage residents in meaningful activities. Benefits include 401k with company match, discounted meals, and paid training. Full-time opportunities are also available with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living.
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.

Full Time Opportunities available with $1,000 Sign On Bonus for FT Evenings or Nights!

Personal Care Assistant Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
