Job summary

Cross Country Community Care in Concord, CA is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors. You will help with daily activities, safety monitoring, feeding, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while observing changes and reporting them with care.

Flexible 1–2 hour to 3 hour shifts across mornings, afternoons and evenings, weekly pay at about $22/hour, and benefits for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• MUST speak Spanish/English/Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Willing to work 1–3 hour shifts, including weekends.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Pass criminal background check, pass 4‑panel drug test, pass physical exam & TB test.
• Smartphone and email access.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, safety monitoring, and support during daily activities
• Assist with feeding, including meal setup and support while eating
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene routines
• Provide bathing assistance (shower, sponge bath, partial)
• Support toileting, incontinence care, and perineal care
• Provide safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.)
• Supervise mobility to reduce fall risk
• Observe and report changes in condition, incidents, or injuries
• Respond appropriately and promptly during emergencies

What You’ll Do: Primary Responsibilities - Personal Attendant Duties

Requirements:
