Job summary

Cross Country Community Care is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide in-home support in San Pablo, Richmond, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, Rodeo and nearby areas. The role involves helping clients with daily activities, meals, hygiene, mobility and safety, in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience, ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish/English/Mandarin/Cantonese), reliable transportation, and weekend

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Must speak Spanish/English/Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, safety monitoring, and support during daily activities
• Assist with feeding, including meal setup and feeding support
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene routines
• Provide bathing assistance (shower, sponge bath, partial)
• Support toileting, incontinence care, and perineal care
• Provide safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.)
• Supervise mobility to reduce fall risk
• Observe and report changes in condition, incidents, or injuries
• Respond appropriately and promptly during emergencies
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed
• Laundry and shopping tasks as required

What You’ll Do: Primary Responsibilities - Personal Attendant Duties

• Provide supervision, safety monitoring, and support during daily activities

• Light Housekeeping/Tidying connected to participant needs (making beds)

Requirements:
