Cross Country Community Care in the Oakland area is seeking caring Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support in-home clients across Berkeley, Richmond, Alameda, Oakland, Piedmont and nearby areas. If you value heart, compassion, and helping others, join our team.

Position offers flexible 1–2 hour shifts, bilingual Spanish/English/Mandarin/Cantonese communication, weekly pay, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Males encouraged to apply.
• Must speak Spanish/English/Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Willing to work 1–3 hour shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation/valid DL/insurance.
• Weekend availability.
• Pass criminal background check.
• Pass 4 Panel Drug Test.
• Pass Physical exam & TB test.
• Smartphone & email.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, safety monitoring, and support during daily activities.
• Assist with feeding, including meal setup and support while eating.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, and hygiene routines.
• Provide bathing assistance (shower, sponge bath, partial).
• Support toileting, incontinence care, and perineal care.
• Provide safe transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, etc.).
• Supervise mobility to reduce fall risk.
• Observe and report changes in condition, incidents, or injuries.
• Respond appropriately and promptly during emergencies.
• Light Housekeeping/Tidying connected to participant needs (making beds).
• Cooking/Grocery Shopping.
• Laundry.

What You’ll Do
