Job summary

The CPMG team in Tampa seeks a PC Technician to support users in a fast-paced environment across DoD-related projects. You will troubleshoot, configure, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring equipment operates reliably.

Candidates must hold DoDD 8570 IAT II certification, have at least 1 year of PC/Help Desk experience, and possess a TS/SCI clearance. Degrees accepted: various combinations; DoW 8140 preferred by Oct 26.

Qualifications

• DoDD 8570 01-M IAT II certification.
• Minimum qualification options: 6 years with HS Diploma, 4 years with Associate's, or 2 years with Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of PC Tech or Help Desk experience.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Preferred: DoW 8140 compliance under Work Role Code 411 by 1 Oct 26.

• Working with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensuring that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
• Analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
• May perform other duties as needed.

Summary:

The PC Technician supports users in a fast-paced operational environment. Performs a variety of services in support of end users and/or missions for the various components and commands residing at the locations assigned and as directed by leadership.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Have a demonstrated ability to communicate exceptionally well both orally and in writing, as well as have a positive customer service attitude

Minimum Qualifications:

• DoDD 8570 01-M IAT II certification
• Must meet one of the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 years with HS Diploma
  • Minimum 4 years with Associate's degree
  • Minimum 2 years with Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year of previous experience working as a PC Tech or Help Desk
• A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 411 - Technical Support Specialist - Intermediate level or higher by 1 Oct 26
