Job summary

The Arc Ontario in Canandaigua is seeking a PC Technician to maintain computer hardware, software, and networks across multiple locations. You will support staff with troubleshooting and training, set up new equipment, and assist with AV systems to ensure reliable technology for our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in hardware and software support or equivalent educational/communication experience.
• Familiarity with Windows systems, printers, and basic LAN/WLAN networking; hardware repair skills.
• Experience with current Windows desktop OS, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Exchange and related applications.
• Experience with Office 365, Windows Server, AV gear, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra/Identity, MDM platforms, website maintenance, customer service, and HIPAA/FERPA compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains computer and peripheral equipment at main facility and off-site locations.
• Monitors internal help desk system and maintains high level of staff and individual support.
• Configures and prepares new equipment for deployment per agency standards.
