Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level hardware and software support for client systems, including setup/installation of new systems and diagnosing issues.
• Perform installation and maintenance for equipment such as audio/visual systems, staff workstations, printers, copiers, and other IT equipment.
• Provide professional user support, assist users with day-to-day computer problems, maintain excellent customer service relationships, and document all work clearly.

Description

• Provide first-level hardware and software support for client systems, including, but not limited to:
  • Set up and installation of new systems
  • Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues
  • Hardware/software configuration recommendations
  • Maintaining classroom equipment
• Perform installation and maintenance for various equipment, such as:
  • Audio/visual systems
  • Staff workstations
  • Printers, copiers, and other peripheral devices
  • Other supported university IT equipment
• Provide professional user support:
  • Assist users with day-to-day computer-related problems
  • Maintain excellent customer service relationships
  • Properly document all work in an organized manner
