Job summary

Hamilton County is seeking a microcomputer specialist to deploy PC hardware, software, and peripherals in a county network and to provide onsite and telephone user support. You will handle life-cycle tasks from deployment to retirement, assist with basic security concepts, file sharing, and password management, and maintain accurate hardware/software inventories.

The role requires strong customer service, effective written and verbal communication, and collaboration with Systems and Networking

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CIS/CS with relevant IT experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain PC hardware, software, and peripherals in a networked environment.
• Provide on-site and telephone user support; assist Help Desk coverage.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory records and document work performed.
• Assist with basic security concepts and permissions; work with Active Directory.
