Job summary

Hamilton County Schools is seeking a network support professional to install, configure, and maintain network hardware and services across facilities. The role involves troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring network performance, and supporting end users with access to network resources.

The position requires a technical degree in network support and at least three years of experience, with a valid driver’s license. Certifications in Microsoft and HP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical degree or equivalent in network support.
• Minimum three years of network support experience.
• Valid state issued driver's license is required.
• Microsoft and HP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the installation, configuration and maintenance of network hardware and services including switches, routers and access points.
• Troubleshoots network hardware and software problems.
• Installs and upgrades network software/hardware.
• Utilizes tools to monitor network utilization and troubleshoot user access.
• Analyses and remediates connectivity and performance problems on HCDE network.
