Job summary

Hamilton County Government seeks a microcomputer specialist responsible for deploying PC hardware, software and peripherals in a networked environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CIS/CS with related work experience.
• Associate’s degree with three years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of high school diploma and five years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy PC hardware, software and peripherals in a network environment.
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain PC hardware and software.
• Provide onsite and telephone support to users; assist Help Desk coverage.
• Maintain detailed records of hardware and software inventory.
• Collaborate with Systems and Networking staff for higher level support.
• Continue professional development using county resources.
