Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking an Associate Counsel to support PBM contracts and regulatory compliance across the enterprise, including state health plan matters.

You will advise on PBM contracts, privacy and data governance, audits, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with pharmacy, compliance, operations, and exec teams. This role sits at the intersection of health care, government programs, and highly regulated health plan operations.

Qualificações

• JD from an accredited law school.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Licensed to practice law.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of PBM contracts and related legal requirements.
• Review PBM materials and provide legally supportable guidance to business partners.
• Advise on PBM contract interpretation including privacy, data use, and compliance.
• Serve as legal counsel supporting PBM operations and State Health Plan contracts.
• Advise on federal/state regulatory requirements impacting PBM and health plan administration.
• Support administration of pharmacy benefit initiatives and vendor integrations.
• Advise on privacy, data governance, and information-sharing requirements.
• Assist with audits, investigations, and regulatory requests.
