Job summary

Petersburg City Public Schools is seeking a PBIS Coordinator to lead district-wide PBIS and MTSS efforts. This 12-month central-office role focuses on universal Tier 1 practices, data-driven improvement, and targeted Tier 2 supports for students across all schools.

The coordinator collaborates with school leaders, provides coaching and professional development, and aligns PBIS with district and grant requirements to support equitable outcomes for all learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating PBIS/MTSS or school-wide behavior support systems at Tier 1 and Tier 2.
• PBIS leadership or MTSS training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Tier 1 PBIS across multiple schools and sustain universal practices.
• Provide coaching and professional development for administrators, teachers, and staff on Tier 1 and Tier 2 PBIS.
• Analyze behavior and discipline data to improve outcomes and identify training needs.
• Collaborate with MTSS teams and central offices to align PBIS with district initiatives.
• Maintain records and documentation for PBIS implementation and grant reporting.
