Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; emphasis noted in the job posting.
• Knowledge of MTSS and behavior supports.
• Experience with at-risk students and data-informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and support to administrators and teachers to implement MTSS at the building level.
• Attend professional development and district MTSS meetings.
• Monitor MTSS fidelity using culturally responsive approaches to behavioral interventions and connections to academic outcomes.
• Assist in analyzing student needs and linking those needs to appropriate interventions.
• Implement a proactive approach to meeting the needs of the whole child with emphasis on social and emotional learning.
• Assist staff with student attendance and truancy.
• Serve as a student advocate and liaison between the school and home.
• Make home visits as needed.
• Monitor academic achievement through data-based decision making.
• Mentor students with transitions between grade levels.
• Work with administrators on school activities and events.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to resolve student problems with restorative practices.
• Coordinate with local mental health and juvenile services when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
