The New York City Police Department, Fleet Services Division, seeks a Clerical Associate to perform clerical tasks related to records, files, invoices and reports, and to carry out data entry using standard office systems.
Qualifications include a four-year high school diploma and one year of clerical experience; typing at least 100 keystrokes per minute (about 20 wpm). Residency within NYC is preferred; 55-a Program eligibility is noted.

Fleet Services Division is responsible for the upkeep and/or repair of all NYPD vehicles and vehicles from other contracted city agencies.
Under supervision, performs clerical and related work with limited latitude for independent judgment.

Qualification Requirements
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
Familiarity with an administrative office. Typing memos and documents, CityTime, Centralized Personnel Resource System, and other NYPD computer systems is preferred
