Job summary

Asure Software is seeking an Implementation Specialist to lead end-to-end client configurations of our payroll tax product. You will gather requirements, configure solutions, train clients, and own implementations from kickoff through stabilization.

In this hybrid role, based in Nashville, TN or Virginia Beach, VA, you will ensure on-time delivery, accuracy, and client adoption across payroll processes and HR standards. Excellent communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supporting clients with US payroll and/or tax processing.
• 2+ years in a dedicated account ownership service model.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• CPP, FPC, PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end client implementations, applying deep product expertise to build accurate configurations and deliver successful outcomes.
• Delivers group presentations and training sessions that enable clients to confidently use and maintain Asure Software.
• Owns all stages of software implementation projects with clear accountability for scope, quality, and timelines.
• Discovery: identify client business requirements; Configure: tax solution based on requirements; Deliver: training on the configured solution; Deploy: complete implementations.
• Support: clients for the first 2 successful payrolls; Deliver: results on time; Ensure adoption for continued success.
• Provides status reports and updates to the project team; resolves hurdles through coordination with clients and internal teams.
