Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a strategic Payroll Project Manager to lead end-to-end payroll initiatives and system implementations across the organization. You will drive project plans, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, and HR to ensure success.

The role requires 5+ years in payroll operations, 3+ years in project management, and a proven track record of payroll system deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of payroll operations experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience implementing payroll systems.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations.
• PMP and CPP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale payroll system implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, HR and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Manage risk and mitigation strategies for payroll projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation and training materials.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
