Job summary

Related is seeking a talented Payroll Manager to join our payroll team in New York. You will support the Senior Payroll Manager, oversee payroll operations, and help ensure weekly and bi-weekly deadlines are met in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires 7+ years of multi-state payroll experience, strong knowledge of U.S. wage and hour laws, and proficiency with UltiPro and Excel. A CPP or FPC certification is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 7+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
• CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in UltiPro, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees and statutory agencies.
• Handle payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, transfers, and garnishments.
• Reconcile payroll and validate reports prior to transmission.
• Resolve complex payroll issues and respond to inquiries from government agencies and internal stakeholders.
