Job summary

Jenne, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support the accounting team with payroll data collection, review, and submission to the managed payroll service provider. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with managers, HR, and Accounting to ensure complete payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized payroll records. On-site work in Avon, Ohio, with standard hours and confidentiality at the core of duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–3 years in administrative, office, accounting or payroll support roles.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and prepare payroll input for each pay cycle.
• Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Identify errors and discrepancies; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with managers, HR, and Accounting to resolve issues on time.
• Reconcile benefit invoices with enrollment systems for accurate deductions and contributions.
• Submit approved payroll data to the service provider by deadlines.
• Review provider confirmations and resolve exceptions.
• Maintain payroll workbooks, trackers, and documentation for each period.
• Serve as primary contact for payroll data submission questions.
• Assist with off-cycle payments, garnishments, and special items.
