Job summary

Kirby Risk Corporation in Lafayette, IN is seeking an On-Site Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. The role supports employee services with confidential handling of payroll data and interactions with the Dayforce HRIS.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in payroll/HR, experience with payroll software, strong Excel skills, and an ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll and/or HR experience in a multi-state environment.
• Experience using payroll software.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and approve payroll transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Process payroll entries, time records, and adjustments within deadlines.
• Maintain payroll records in line with federal/state/local requirements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze HRIS payroll reports for audits and decisions.
• Coordinate payroll and tax reporting activities and respond to requests.
