Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage and hour compliance.
• Experience with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, Workday, or similar).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's/Associate degree in relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll.
• Maintain employee payroll records and validate changes such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and deductions.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other earnings.
• Ensure accurate payroll tax withholdings and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and accounting teams.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee data.
• Process garnishments, child support orders, and other required deductions.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2s, tax filings, and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
