Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Paylocity, or similar.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for a multi-state employee population.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with audits and reporting requirements.
• Support tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and direct deposit processing.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Assist with year-end processing, including W-2s and related reporting.

This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and experienced with multi-state payroll environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for a multi-state employee population
• Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Maintain payroll records and assist with audits and reporting requirements
