Job summary

A great organization! is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to run biweekly payroll from start to finish in a manufacturing environment. You will pull hours from TSheets, enter and classify hours, and resolve discrepancies with employees and supervisors before submission.

The role requires meticulous time-tracking, adherence to deadlines, and maintaining confidential payroll records while addressing employee questions about hours and pay.

Responsibilities

• Pull employee hours from TSheets at the close of each pay period.
• Enter hours into the payroll spreadsheet, classifying each as regular, overtime, holiday or PTO.
• Review time for missing punches, errors or unusual hours, and resolve issues with employees and supervisors before submitting.
• Track PTO and holiday hours used and keep balances current in the spreadsheet.
• Upload completed spreadsheet data into ADP and check totals against the spreadsheet before submitting.
• Submit payroll in ADP by the deadline every pay period.
• Keep payroll records organized and confidential, and answer employee questions about hours and pay.
