Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Payroll Specialist to maintain and review payroll data for multiple companies, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow up with managers for timecard approvals, ensure multi-state payroll accuracy, investigate discrepancies, answer employee questions, train staff on timekeeping and payroll systems, prepare reports, and monitor tax filings to support timely, compliant payroll processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years payroll experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
• ADP experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Follow up with managers to ensure timecard approvals are completed
• Ensure accuracy of multi-state, multi-company payroll data
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll
• Answering employee questions
• Conduct/assist in training employees in using the timekeeping and payroll applications
• Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
• Initiate off-cycle/manual payments timely
• Upload garnishment documents to payroll portal
• Preparing reports for management review
• Monitor quarterly and annual tax filings
• Assist with payroll projects as needed
