Job summary

LHH US is actively seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist in the United States. The role involves processing weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll with accuracy, reviewing timecards, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

You will also handle new hires, terminations, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax withholdings while supporting audits and collaborating with HR and Accounting. We value attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time.
• Review and verify employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax withholdings.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
• Support payroll audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
