Job summary

Distro is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support our payroll function for a growing client base in the United States. The role handles day-to-day payroll processing for scheduled and off-cycle runs and ensures accurate entry of client data.

You will collaborate with Payroll Supervisors, manage a book of business, and respond promptly to client questions via email, cases, and phone. Training and ongoing education are provided to stay current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective time management and accuracy in payroll tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day payroll processing support for scheduled and off-cycle payrolls.
• Import or manually enter payroll changes (hours, earnings, deductions, tax overrides, etc.).
• Calculate payroll and confirm accurate entry of client-provided data through control totals and review.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, cases, and phones.
• Partner with Payroll Supervisors on special projects and support clients.
• Manage and support assigned book of business and coordination across teams.
• Attend webinars and training to stay up to date on best practices.
• Complete projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
