AssuranceSD is seeking a Personal Accounting Service Payroll Specialist to manage the timesheets of personal care workers and ensure on-time payroll in compliance with federal, state, and funding regulations. You will handle tax withholdings, benefit deductions, and maintain accurate payroll records while providing support to workers and care managers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in accounts payable.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Strong data entry and processing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Customer service mindset.

Responsabilités

• Manage timesheets for personal care workers and ensure timely payment.
• Resolve timesheet discrepancies prior to payroll posting.
• Process checks and direct deposits within deadlines.
• Support workers on timesheet completion.
• Withhold and remit payroll taxes and withholdings.
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with laws.
• Respond to wage verifications and audits.
• Communicate professionally with participants and staff.
• Maintain financial records and documentation.
• Make payments per service plans.
• Provide training to customers and support staff.
• Vendor/Employer agent services for customers hiring own staff.
