Job summary

ArtesRx is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate multi-state payroll processing across varying schedules, including 401(k) administration. You will ensure tax compliance, maintain payroll records, and support audits within a HIPAA-conscious HR environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with Finance and HR teams to drive process improvements and timely payroll deliveries for diverse populations served by ArtesRx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Three or more years of payroll experience, including multi-state processing.
• Experience with New York employers with 100+ team members preferred.
• HRCI/SHRM, FPC, or CPP certifications highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile, calculate, and reconcile payroll data for multi-state processing.
• Maintain accurate payroll and 401(k) records; manage enrollments, contributions, loans, withdrawals, and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and wage-and-hour laws.
