Job summary

SpecialtyRx, a full-service pharmacy, seeks a Payroll Administrator to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across multiple locations and states. You will ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and excellent service to employees and managers.

Hours: In house, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. This role requires meticulous data handling, strong Excel skills, and a thorough understanding of federal and state payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting a multi-state workforce.
• Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems; strong Excel skills a must.
• Working knowledge of federal and state payroll requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multiple locations and states, including regular hours, overtime, PTO, bonuses, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Review and reconcile timekeeping and payroll data to ensure accuracy prior to payroll submission.
• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, tax elections, direct deposits, and deductions.
• Process garnishments, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related transactions.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations, audits, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities.
• Respond professionally and timely to employee and management payroll inquiries.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
