Addison Group is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Davidson County, TN to manage full-cycle payroll processing across multiple locations and entities. The role requires accuracy, timely delivery, and partnership with HR, Finance, and leadership to resolve discrepancies.

The position is contract to hire with a salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 annually, plus health, dental, vision, and 401(k). Candidates should have 3+ years of payroll experience and strong knowledge of payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience supporting multi-location or multi-state payroll operations.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, overtime, deductions, garnishments, and payroll compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and timekeeping software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for employees across multiple locations and entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Process employee wages, overtime, bonuses, incentive compensation, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Review and validate employee timekeeping records and payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Process employee changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable laws and company policies.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and leaders to resolve payroll discrepancies and maintain records.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and provide timely support.
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and supporting documentation for stakeholders.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, quarterly reporting, year-end processing, and tax documents.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records supporting internal controls.
• Collaborate with vendors and system admins to troubleshoot issues and maintain payroll systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
